I am a Resident Fellow at Centro Studi Luca d'Agliano in Milan, Italy.

I am an applied economist with interests in political economy and development economics. My current research covers topics such as corruption, political selection and social conflict. I also have an emerging interest in the economics of international student migration.

​

I am a co-founder of the Italian-Brazilian Economic Association.

​

My work has been funded by the EU's Next Generation EU, the Alexander Nash Fund, and the RRPP, amongst others.​ I have also provided policy advice to USAID and Kosovo's Ministry of Trade and Industry, amongst others.
